Replacing my broken rearend, the only only one I could find is a 3.55 ratio, to replace my 2.73, what problems is this going to cause?
I can not get the brake line flair nut off at the bracket above the rear axle.
I am real scared of messing up the brake line, and having to replace the whole thing.
Have sprayed with PB Blaster and tried a Flair wrench and vise grips, any more suggestions.
With the 3.55 you will not be able to go as fast and you MPG will go down a lot.
On the other hand it will give you more pulling power.
A six point flair nut wrench should turn it. You may need to hit the wrench with a hammer.
Do not use vise grips as you will not be able to use a wrench on it again.
