Mass Air Flow?

How do you know if your truck is setup for mass air flow or not. The current setup has a sensor or some sort connect to the air filter caseing that says air flow meter? does this mean its mass air flow or not??
I didnt think the 1994 trucks were mass air flow i thought they were still SD engines untill 1995??

Yes that's a mass air meter consider yourself lucky. Now you have to determine what tranny you have.

I have got the 4r70w tranny i actually posted about it awhile back with some questions because i am unfimilar with this tranny.

The 94 trucks with 5.0's had mass air.

I do find it odd that you have a 4r70w in a 94 4x4 exteded cab and not an E4OD.
