Is anyone running a 17in rim on an 06 4x4 xlt? I was just wondering if they will fit without brake clearance issues.

Yup, they come stock on XL and XLT's I believe. I have them on my XLT. 17 is the smallest you can go without any issues though.

The F150 Raptor even uses a 17" wheel .... with really tall tires.

I'm running a aftermarket 17" wheel. My OEMs (as already mentioned) were 17s.
