I noticed that my temperature gauge never really gets past the "O" in "N O R M A L." Lately, though, it's barely even been getting to the N. I'm not noticing any other strange effects with my truck (doesn't seem like its running too hot or cold, for instance). Is my cooling system just working really well, or is something wrong?
I had the same problem with mine. I replaced the thermostat, verified it was heating up to the right temperature, and it still reads low. The truck runs fine. Make sure the actual temperature reads right and you should be fine. When I turn on my heater, the temperature and oil pressure readings go up go figure.
