Its a store here in Wisconsin that has many NOS flathead parts, and a lot of original parts for flathead trucks and cars.
I'll call Napa for starters thanks!
I tried Fastenal, but when I walked in with a bag full of flathead bolts... the look was like I was from another planet.
Asthey said N A P A ......... in addition Antique Auto supply in Alrington Texas , Bob Drake - Grants Pass Oregon , Dennis Carpenter - Hillsborough / Charlotte North Carolina , Osolete Ford in Phoenix Arizona
Thanks for the help guys! Here's my scoop...may not be right but it's what I did anyways.
I ordered the 8BA6065A .. Head Bolt / 7/16" -14 x 1.94" / Fits 239 Flathead V8NOS ones they had at NORTZ & VIRKLER FORD. They only had 2 of the 2.62" inch long ones at 5 bucks each (ouch ) but I ordered those too.
I ordered 12, 2.62" long ones from Carpenter, he has them on his website catalog.
That gives me enough to put all new ones on the head that I pulled. Gasket will be new, and head was resurfaced. I will also use Never Seize.
Now I have to use the stick welder I picked up to arc weld a nut onto the 2 snapped bolts just above the block (yes I will practice first)
i was gonna say carpenter , and i found a stainless fastener co. on evil bay the can get 'em in purty ... you geussed it stainless polished or otherwise , called alloyz . they were pricey but i'm so trying to sell something i don't need , like my brain to medical science , to maybe get 'em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps. i contacted arp and even gave em the thread pitch , lengths , etc. and they couldnt come up with 'em !! what gives there as they list stud kits for them .......................
I've got coffee cans full of headbolts. Not new, but "tempered". Lol.
Really, I've never had any trouble re-cycling head bolts. Just clean out the old holes good and clean up the bolts good. Your not gonna snap em if the threads are clean--not at 65-70 lbs...slim

Ford put a lot of metallurgy science into their fasteners back then (other stuff too). I'd rather use clean old OEM bolts than aftermarket new.
yep mines been in and out a couple of times in their life , currently out , LOL !!!!!!! i thought they were stretched at one point but got a good set of digital measuring devices , nope . mine still have the ford marks in 'em . don't think your gonna do that , reuse 'em ,with any new one { engine } irregardless of make , as we all know real engines don't have valve covers ...................... although i do have a couple of the others sitting and i do like 'em too , but the flatty is the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still telling her there bad though so i can buy the jewelery if ya get my drift
well lets just say .............. YOU GOTTA CHEAP SET BILL ??????????? if ya do i might be persuaded to if i can pry the money outta the wifes hands ............. but averall i'm happy with her . she's unique in a world of sheople mobiles , all i gotta do is get her back on the road ................................... oh yeah my wife would love ya if ya do . that'd mean a complete stroker rebuild and lot's o green stuff put into the ol' girl !!!!!!!!!!
