Auto hubs

Has anyone replaced auto hubs to manual hubs on f 250 s/d 6.0 had the vaccume pump go out twice also if i do this would it solve the vaccume pump issuse and other than that would the 4w/d switch work the same and if any one has the brand.

I still have my ESOF hubs, however it seems pretty common for people to switch to manual hubs. The two most common brands I hear of are Warn and then Mile Marker. I saved the following links for reference in case I decide to make the switch in the future:

I would stay away from the Milemarker hubs the Warn Hubs are probably the best.

I hate automatic hubs they let you down when you need 4wheeldrive the most.

How do you install them just remove the old auto and replace with the new manual hubs

Every 4x4 my pops has ever owned the first thing he does is replace with waren manual hubs. Even when he bought a new excursion and 3/4 chevy trk. He then procedes to tell the hunting story in western NE sandhills wet and sloppy when they went out and had to call for help because the snow was, well roof deep last time I heard it. Of course the auto hubs failed.
