Camber/Caster

1996 f150 4x4 After reading reading and reading, I have positive camber at driver front and negative on passenger side i've come to the conclusion to check1st then replace all four ball joints and confirm camber angles not using camber shims. Truck will grab in rutts or rise's in the street and will manuever in various directions however all is tight up front new steering gear box that had about 3in play new shocks and coils. In previous if a tire has postive/neg. camber the tire is not flat to surface. Mine has positive on driver side neg on passenger witch will force positive pressure where tread has more contact and cause it to steer to the right, in other words both tires are tilted to the left it will steer right.

The 1996 F-150 doesn’t utilize a solid front axle like the Super Duty trucks. You have a Dana 44 TTB (sort of) independent front suspension. Alignment shops used to cringe when I would show up with my 1995 F-150 with TTB.
