Manual Shifter question
Hello all,
The other day when shifting I heard a loud "BOING" and now my shift lever is pretty loose. It used to take a bit of effort to push it over to go into R or L, now it's easy.
I think a spring must have broken. Anyone know where it may be located?

Wow, if I had a standard trans in my truck, I'd be all over that! I never knew they made one for these trucks.
I have a shorty shifter in my 5.0 and love it. I dunno why they put those gawdaweful OEM shifters in Mustangs to begin with, and the one's in the 250's are even worse!
