Quick question

Does anybody know if there is 1 or 2 seals between the trany and the transfercase
?

not totally sure let me look at my truck today and i will get back to you. i rebuilt my tranny but can't remember but looking at it will probably help lol..... and here is another bump for you anyways

ok i just looked and there is only 1 GASKET between the trans and transfer case. and i believe only one seal inside also because either the trans or the transfer case doesn't have a seal because the oil is supposed to get thru there to oil that shaft that connects the two units.

thank you Jeron. Does the year matter? I should have added that it is a 2003 Crew Cab long box, I don't think that any of it matters but it might.

I don't think it matters i have a 4R100 trans and im not sure what transfer case. probably the same one as you. but weather or not our stuff is the same i would imagine that the seal/gasket count would be
