When turning the steering wheel there is a rubbing sound coming from the front end .Sounds like it is coming from the steering box,any ideas what is causing this? This is on a 1997 Expedition.Thanks for any help.

Go to any autopart supply and buy a needle fitting for your grease gun and inject some grease through the rubber boots on the tie rods.
That will cure the problem and buy you some time if your warranty period has expired.
