More problems
A while ago my AC was only blowing through the defrost. After doing some research on here and along with some other places, it has lead me to believe it could be a problem with the hubs.
I looked underneath and found a piece of rubber dangling on the inside of the knuckle (closer to engine). I went to the dealership to order the part and while I was there I ordered the other two seals (black & yellow). With a discount from my stepfather it costed me like $100.00.
Today I started the project. Besides the F-ing "c" clap sytle clips holding the hub in and the or clip holding the bolt at the bottom of the knuckle in it wasnt that bad.
PROBLEM time:
1. I couldnt get the knuckle off. I was able to get the F-ing clip from the bottom off, but even after removing the castle nut from the top I wasn't able to get the knuckle off the vehicle. Is there a secret in doing this or was I missing something very easy? Reason for getting the knuckle off was to gain access to the dangling piece that looks like it has to be pressed into the knuckle.
After re-installing everything and a whole lot of practice removing everything, nothing was fixed.
2. After re-installing everything, it seems to me that my brake light "ABS" has come on. Was there something I had to unplug before I unscrewed the sensor?
3. There seems to be a noise now when I press the brake all the way down when I am at a complete stop. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Al
