Fuel Filter
How do I put on a new fuel filter on my 2001 F150?Does the vehicle need to go on a lift?
I purchased one from an auto supply. He put the windshield wipers I just purchased on for me. Then when I asked for the fuel filter he gave me this look over. PS I am capable of putting on a wiper.

First, why do you need a new fuel filter on a 2001?
You shouldn't need to put it on a lift. Just roll under
it and it should be tucked up in the frame rail.
Also, I think you will need some special little tools
to pop out the clips that hold the lines to the filter.
If you have a diesel, ignore everything I just said.

Thanks for your advice. I will try to roll under tomorrow.
My 2001 has 45,000 miles. I admit to using a coupon at the auto clean service that comes free if you do an oil change. They keep harping I need a new fuel filter that the original is still on.
