any idea
have 99 powerstroke with misfire cyl 8, no engine lamp, performed contribution test and cyl 8 comes up weak, performed comp. test and found that comp. only 150 psi, added oil to cyl. and returns to better than 400 psi, cyl. 8 injector, valve cover gasket and harness already replaced 8k ago, any ideas
still plays with trucks

Adding oil to the Cyl, or doing a "wet comp test" is to see if the low compression is caused by worn rings or scored cyl walls. if you readings jumped that much I'd say you've got a bad cyl.. Sorry
