Thought the problem was solved..
Well I had thought the repositioning of the pinion angle had taken ALL of the vibrations out of the truck. But, since driving it again, I am noticing the vibration is still in the 2nd gear. I am confused. The shake is ONLY in second gear...Not before, not after, just in 2nd...Could my shift kit be playing tricks on the 2nd gear? That is the only thing I can think of. I dont think it is anything to do with the pinion angle moving or not moving, because whether I am just driving through the gears, or coasting and then get back in to the throttle in 2nd gear, the vibration is prevalent. So I have to think something inside the transmission is messed up...I dont understand otherwise what else could be causing the vibration in such a specificed MPH range. It doesnt happen in any other speed range except as soon as it shifts into second. What would have caused this? Could that shackle flip in the rear have damaged the transmission. I have repostioned the pinion 3 times, replaced the transfer case. Everything is right, no lose u joints its weird to me.
