The trans will bolt up to 4.6 or 5.4
If you get a 99 to 03 5.4 it will have a little more power then the 97 & 98

I'm a little uncertain on the 6 and 8 bolt flywheel.
You might just have to swap that. And I'm not sure about the clutch. Never messed with it.

To make the 5.4 work, you will need to get the computer from the 5.4 or have a custom tune done to the computer of your 4.6. The romeo 4.6 has a 6 bolt flywheel and the windsor has an 8 bolt flywheel. If you have a romeo 4.6 you will need to get a flywheel from a windsor 4.6 for it to work on the 5.4 which are all windsor engines. The v10 thing has been done but would be a lot more work than the 5.4 swap. I don't think the v10 computer will work with the pats system and the gauges as well as the trans you have in the truck now would not last very long behind a v10. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Yes they will bolt to the head.
You may have other fitment problems and the exhaust will need to be adjusted.

97 to 03 had the plug problems. They started putting the upgraded heads on in mid to late 03. So it's going to be hard to find one with the updated heads.
