[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Sep-02 AT 00:03 AM (EST)]Welcome to FTE. I recently added OEM foglights to my 98, i'm not sure what your meaning of cheap is but i got mine for 50 each from autolites.com if you looking for cheaper than that i suggest looking ata recycling yard or salvage yard for a rear end wreck. Good Luck.
I believe that they are the same. Even though the openings are oval, the actual lights are rectangular and mount to the bumper behind the openings, not in them. If you want new units, they'll cost you between $ 50.00 and $ 75.00 each, including the 9006 lamp. I put new OEM lights on my '98 last weekend (and also just put in Sylvania SilverStar lamps). I got the lights and OEM switch from fordpartsonline.com. They make a big difference, especially in the amount of light you get on the ground close to the front of the truck toward the sides.
>just got a 1998 expedition the only problem is no fog
>lights. anyone know a cheap place to get them.?
I got the whole OEM Ford fog light kit on eBay for just under $150. It includes lights, switch and all wiring. Check to see if there are any up for auction now, make sure you also search under "fog lamps", as that is how they are often listed.
I just installed the fog lights from autolights.com The fit well and look good. I have the plugs behind the bumper into the lamps, but when I turn and pull the light switch they don't turn on. My 97 expy did not come with fog lights. Is there anything else that needs to be done in order for them to work?:-(
