If you look past the dirty engine bay and see the plug i am holding. I dont know what this is MAF Maybe???
The PO did some pretty shotty work on the ole girl so i dont know what this is but it seems to me that it could be a MAF sensor plug as the truck is a 1993 f-150 302, E4OD,4x4,Flareside right about the time they started switching from SD to MAF. if Any of you could shed some light on this it would be greatly apreciated.
That's for the power steering pressure switch. It wasn't used on all trucks, but the wiring was probably the same regardless of if it was used or not. I'm thinking that it was used on 302s with manual transmissions, and since you have the E4OD, it wouldn't be needed. The computer would definitely throw a code if it was looking for that switch and couldn't find it.
Thanks for the replies, i will just tape it up out of the way then if it is not being used, i looked on the power steering pump for a spot to plug into but with no avail. 1 More head scatcher down only about a million to go..lol
