Is the u-joint the same..... measured with the caps completely collapsed? You might need to squash it in a vice to push the grease and air out.
The measurement should be about .003 to .010 smaller.

That's what the measurements are supposed to be.
How far is it moving side to side?...Can't be much or you would blow out the end of the caps.

I can see the cross move, i can feel and hear the cross hit the endcaps.

The most it can move is .005, the difference between your 2 measurements.
IMO that's normal if it only moves that far.

then why does this joint move when the other 5 dont?
