Just sold a 87 mazda B2600 and had to put several carbs on while I owned it. By the way were around 700 dollars when you could find it. After checking for vacuum leaks and make sure the carb adjustment screw hasnt fell out you might as well put a new cabr on it they are impossible to fix. by the way when ya put the new one on be sure to put a inline filter as which they dont take kindly to any trash getting into them which yours sounds like. good luck!!!! ps just bought myself a 2000 Ford f150 4x4 and I lub it.
