There's a ton of info to be had by using the search button, but even that aint necessary because there's a current thread where someone just asked the same question.

Instead of regurgitating the info, here's the thread for ya!

got mine from NAPA for $150, new. i would also advise to get a new 203* thermostat ($40+/-) and a new thermostat housing ($23+/-) AND its a good time to replace your Upper radiator hose to a hose that goes around the serpentine belt instead of through it ($12+/-) AND may as well replace your lower hose ($12) also instead of waiting to dump a lot of antifreeze out when it fails. Just my .02.

Gonna be doing a water pump and fan clutch this weekend. I got my water pump from northern auto and its a new Airtex unit, then I pucked up a Hayden fan clutch from rock auto. Do a search for more info, also there is another video on how to do a water pump I think its over at thedieselstop.

its not a bad job at all, just make sure you have a pulley holder tool. if not, you will learn some new words. also, the fan hub nut is a 47mm or 48mm, i forget exactly which one. if you dont have a fan wrench that big a pipe wrench will also work

You can get the thermostat and housing at:

Housing: http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=188

Thermostat: http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=186

The upper radiator hose that goes around the belt is for the dual alternator setup.

The billet housing doesn't mate well with the less than flat cast iron block. I cleaned all the surfaces and put a bead of RTV down before bolting the housing to the block (don't ask how I figured this out ). I also went and bought a new lower housing too since I had a small leak coming out of mine.

my pump came with a new lower housing. i also used only the crappy rubber oring and had a leak so i took it back off, ran a healthy bead of permatex waterpump sealnat around it and it seems tight as a tick now. no leaks at all.
