swap

hey guys, i've been pondering replacing my 99 f150, 5.4v8 4x4, lariat with an 03 f150. does anyone know if ford fixed the cylinder head problems, and will i be able to transfer my upgrades onto it, k7n intake, edge tuner, poweraid throttle body spacer, westin bull bars etc. for the plans that i have, i'd have to replace the engine and tranny a bit of respray amd such, so it seems cheaper to replace the truck and put on accessories, should cost less, as i also want to add a procharger supercharger, which woulod include new fuel injectors increased size. mt truck has around 280 km right now. What do you think.

practically the same truck just different and updated interior style and some exterior differences. they added more threads to the cylinder heads to help the problem, not necessarily solve it. your intake should be swappable, the tuner i thought you could only use on one vehicle. the throttle body spacer is a maybe but it is said the spacer does nothing anyways.

Every thing should swap over. Don't put the spacer on!!
Unless you get an 03 built late in the year, you will still have to worry about the plug problem. They didn't put the upgraded heads on till very late in 03.
If you get a 5.4
Do the Lightning intake assembly swap! You'll like it way better then the procharger.
