I have a 99 F150 4x4 5.4L
On their site when I select my truck and get to the Engine part is asks for either a) V8 5.4L SOHC VIN 3 or b) V8 5.4L SOHC VIN L
I checked for a vin # in the door and on the dash hoping to cross reference something but don't see one.
How do I know which one is mine ?
Also, is it only an online subscription or can it be printed after purchased ?
Thanks
I'm sure that you can print the pages, but some may not be friendly.
If worse comes to worse, you can always hit your printscreen button and then paste them into MSPaint. (you have that if you have a PC). Then you will have a picture of the page and you can save it as a jpeg.
I tried it for a while and did not like it too well. Maybe others have had better experiences. I found that it often would give only the labor rate for a repair -- not the repair process. It also was sometimes quite generic. I had a 1989 4.9 six at the time, but some of the pages would cover Duraspark and EEC-IV-- stuff like that.
BTW, you MIGHT be able to try it at your local library -- free. You may have to go there to do it, but then you'll know what they have.
