2004 Crew cab 4x4 difficult turning
I've got a problem that I'm not sure how to describe. I took my truck on vacation, and after driving say 2-3 hours on the highway, I exit to get gas and the truck turns almost as if it's in 4 wheel drive. It's not in 4 wheel and the hubs are not locked. The front CV joints and drive shaft turn freely. It's almost as if it's pushing through the turns. After making several turns, it goes away. I'm thinking the rear end clutches are locking up. I've recently changed the rear end fluid and limited slip additive. It only seems to do it after extended periods of nearly straight driving. Any thoughts?

You should be able to tell if it is in the rear by taking sharp turns in a parking lot and see if there is rear end binding. If you do it probably means you need a little more LS additive. I just did mine 2 weeks ago with AMSOIL 75W-140 and it already had the additive in it.....
