rough idle...
well guys, recently my truck seems to idle real rough. some kid thought it had a cam in it. some older guy thought it was missing. at times it varies, but is rough enough often times that it will shake the cab and engine and everything. it was rougher idle with the TW since i installed it last Christmas, but it is a lot worse now than then. IPR? what all should i check?

The IPR will usually cause it to idle rough after it's warmed up. Is that the case? Will idle smooth when first started, but gets worse the longer it runs? Other possibilities are the under valve cover harnesses, the ICP, the tin nit behind the IPR, even the cam sensor. I assume no codes are coming up.

havent checked codes lately, but it is bad at random times. i have a new under valve cover harness on one side, and a new fuel pressure spring and slide piece, no BB in there. sometimes though when first started in the morning the check engine light will flash on, and go off when i go down the road, or i can shut it off and start it back and no light. does not seem to be correlated with oil.
