I realize this is primarily a motor forum. But, I have a 96 F250 Powerstroke long-bed. I am towing a 3-horse gooseneck trailer that probably goes 6000 lbs fully-loaded. I am re-working tires (stock wheel/tire size), front-end alignment, etc. I wondered if any of you have some suggestions/recommendations on after-market shocks. Many thanks.
Contact Cary at CTPerformance. He's a dealer and can order a set that are correctly valved for your truck. I think Bilstein has a buy 3 get one free sale going on now too.
Thanks for the replies! I could not find any contact info for CTPerformance.... search engines failed me. Do you have any contact details? Thanks again!
I'm hauling a much heavier 3 horse and a slide in camper with mine and have rancho 5000's on it. I've always loved them. My truck also has factory sway bars front and rear and factory overloads. It's hard to beat that combination. My wifes truck is basicly identical but doesn't have the overloads or sway bars. There's no way I'm hauling the trailer and the camper at the same time with her truck. For the trailer just the ranchos are all it needed.

Welcome to FTE! This isn't just a engine forum. We talk about EVERYTHING! that has to do with our year trucks. And some things that don't... I've heard a lot of good things about Bilstien shocks.
