460 Engine swap questions

My dad and I are swapping in a 1990 f250 460 into his 1989 f250. We have run into a problem. The 89 engine had the TFI module on the distributor along with a wire harness connector going to it. The 90 engine does not have the TFI on the distributor (presuming it was located on the fender) or a harness plug for one. So for obvious reasons we are getting no spark to the disributor. The question is this. Do we need to find or buy a TFI from a 90 f250/460 and wire it into the harness (might be a usable plug on the fender) or do we need to just install the wiring harness from the 89 f250/460 along with the TFI module from that 89 engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wow, took a while for someone to answer, thank you for trying. we actually had to end up switching out the harness itself. The 1990 harness did not even have a place for the TFI to hook into. In 1990 they switched the TFI over to the fenderwell. So we just switched the harness and dist. and fired right up....
