How Do I know which engine I have?

NM everyone found a vin decoder here

btw it IS a 302 :-)

Ok, for some reason I'm thinking 302, previous owner didn't really confirm that, there are no stickers under hood..Is there any other way to decipher if its 302 OR 351 ? Thanks .

easiest way to tell is that it should be marked 5.0(302) or 5.8(351) on the top of the aluminum intake manifold. not sure if ford did this in 89,but my 95 is that way.

If the upper simply has "Electronic Fuel Injection" on it then measure the width of the lower intake manifold, roughly 9" = 302 and 11" = 351.
