lost my driveshaft

anybody had this problem before?

seems like anytime i have to get on my brakes a little hard my slip yoke pops off the drive shaft and here goes the rear most section flying around, no holes in the gas tank yet.

i need new shocks which i havent installed yet but it seems like it would be more than that.
all the truck has done is 2.5 leveling and 285/75. drive shaft angle looks swell

It would seem you either have a shaft that is too short or some spring problems

Ummmm, no. Is your carrier bearing shot? U-joints gone? Some type of drive shaft modification done in the past?

Generally speaking, driveshafts banging on concrete is a bad thing. I'd recommend finding a shop that can repair and balance you're existing drive shaft, or if you find bad parts you can replace yourself, at least get your shaft re-balanced so you don't get vibrations that make other parts wear faster.

everything was replaced by the dealership, not to long ago, everything is good. yes i do need a new shaft, mine is banged up pretty bad, need to diagnose the actual problem before i buy a new one and trash that. probably going witha highangledrivelines shaft once i get the solution
