2000 F350 V10 not starting all the time
Good Morning;
I have a 2000 F350 with the V10, It will start fine for days then after driving for a bit won't start after being shut off. Everything lights up, you came jump the starter with a screw driver. I started by replacing the starter and solenoid, then the ignition switch for the key and the one on the steering column. I got a new relay and tried changing it with some under the hood but that has not helped. There are a few more I can try today, but running out of options. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

google around about this. fords are know for having this no start problem caused by bolts that are loose that hold the linkage cable under the console. had 3 fords with the same problem and its basically two torx bolts that need to be tightend. with the bracket loose, the switch that allows start in park thinks the car is in gear. on another ford, there was a wire on the brake pedal that was rusty and that switch somehow prevented key start.
