Yeah just get a programmer. Those chips are nothing more than cheap .20 resistors. They work be misleading the computer. It has the same effect as putting a worn out intake temp sensor in your vehicle. In other works they break your vehicle on purpose to change the amount of timing advance. A programmer on the other hand will redo your fuel trim table, timing advance, octane setting, and can change the shift points and shift firmness as well. A programmer is a fine investment, dollar for dollar one of the best, and it can compliment other modifications.
