Fram air filters are some of the most restrictive on the market. I use their fuel filters tho without problems. The last time I cut apart used oil filters the AC filters were a joke and the Purolators were the best, Fram filters were ~OK, nothing dismal and nothing exceptional.
Personally, after having a fram oil filter blow part on me 1000 miles from home leaving me stuck in the middle of the mid-west on Thanksgiving day...I now stay away from their products. I like the Wix (NAPA), Baldwin line of products. I just think the construction is better...
I'm old fashion...I buy my auto parts at a real auto parts store...with a guy behind a counter getting me the part. Pay a little extra and have the confidence of having a good part.

I'm with you. I buy almost everything from NAPA. I have always had good luck with most of their stuff. Rebuilt's being the only problems. But most rebuilt's are junk. I try to buy new. Wix/Napa filters are my choice. I do buy AC Delco oil filters for my Chevy's & Motorcraft for my Ford sometimes from Wally World.
