Finally got the new tires ordered. Ordered 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grappler A/Ts, going down in size a little bit, but I hope to have less problems then I have had with the BFG A/Ts. I am going with them because of the tread warranty, and I know a lot of guys on here run them. I am so used to looking at the BFGs I hope the black side walls are going to look okay. I am used to the white letters and like the way it looks.
I used to run the white's but love the blacks now, The tread warranty on the BFG's are pretty good so maybe you have an issue. I think you will be happy with the Nittos.
The BFG's are all out of round. I have 20,000 miles on them and plenty of tread left, they make the whole truck vibrate going down the interstate. I tested this theory by switching with my dad's wheels off his truck which has the same tires, and the vibration was gone. Way too much money spent on them to have them be trash after 20,000 miles.
Keep us posted on the Nitto's! I need to get some new tires on my 01 before we get much snow this winter. It has 285-75r16 ProComp's on it now, and they're just about done, and I really dont care for how noisy they are. As I said in the other thread, I've had few issues with the BFG's, but my 01 is a work truck driven mainly by employees, so I hate to spend the money on BFG's only to have them trashed.

Did you check the balance on them? the big tires need to be re-balanced as they wear down.
