Has anyone ever tried using an adaptor to put a 4bbl carbuator on a 2bbl intake?
I have used an adaptor to put a 2bbl on a 4bbl intake and that engine is still running fine. I have plans to put a real 4bbl intake on this 400 but can't right now

Sure it will bolt together and run, But the adapter will restrict performance from the 4bbl. you might suffer poor air/fuel atomization due to the restriction of the plate. My suggestion: buy the 4bbl intake to go with the carb, or just put the 2bbl back on.
