hey guys on my reg cab superduty, what size are my door speakers?? i was lookin to replace with a lil better than stock, and idk what size they were...and then another question the little red lense on my door panels, i called the dealer and theywanted 13$ each and thats a little crazy soo idk if anyone knoew where i could find any...
i didnt think they were 6x8 in the door?? i know they were 6x8 in the cab i just replaced but i thought the door was like a 3x5 or something? anyone know where i can find them courtesy light lense's?? besides at a dang dealer
I have a set of Infinity's in the front, and Rockford Fosgates in the rear. They sounded better than stock for sure, but really came to life when I put in a deck!
another vote for crutchfield, i have kenwoods in the doors and poineers in the cab, with a poineer head unit, alpine amp running two 10" subs sounds great
if your going to sweat over a 13$ lens then you have a lot coming your way when you start looking into mods and all that goodies, 13$ for a lens will sound good when your stock trans goes out and so on.
I bought my hood from cervinis, perfect fit, looks perfect, and only company to make a cowl larger then 2.5"
I want a roll pan also, I think the ones I was looking into was on "autoanything" If i remember correctly.
Any one who's had the doors apart, would you say there is enough room for an 8" round speaker? I know I would have to cut some sheet metal, I'm just curious because that's the route I'd like to go....
im sure with minor sheetmetal work an 8" round would work... next time i replace speakers im going round the sound quality from rounds are MUCH better IMHO the better the sound equipment the louder you can go without distortion...(spelled wrong i think)
