The only way I see it helping you is if your current throttle body is a restriction. Unless you've taught the engine to breathe deeper, like cam, headers, and port work, it's not likely to do anything except lighten your wallet. You'd probably be better off spending the $$$$ on better exhaust and/or high-flow cat, if you decide to keep a cat on it. I believe SilverStreak tested his 4.9 throttle body by using a vacuum gauge at full throttle, mounted right behind the throttle body. If it reads 0 there's no restriction.
