price of 69 new

just bought a 69 highboy for $700 no motor but i have a 72 with a 390 in it anybody have any idea what the 69 sold for new? hope to get the wife to stop giving me trouble if i can show how much they have appreacated

We ALL appreciate them very much.

But, if you're talking about price, they sold for a heck of a lot more than $700 when they were new!!!

The sticker for my 69 F100 that came equipt with a 240CID, 3-speed and manual brakes and steering was list at 2,100 I believe. I know the bill of sale was 1,900 and taxes.
