how do I tell

the xlt 250 4x4 i bought did not come with a fob, I have one from my bronco that I sold. I tried to program it but it did not work. How can i tell if the truck even has keyless entry., it did cycle (lock/unlock)

you said it didnt work but you then said it cycled? if it didnt work i have seen them forsale on ebay fairly cheap with instructions on how to program

without starting truck, turn key on then off 5 or 7 times, leaving on at the end. The locks will cycle if you have leyless entry.

your locks cycled then yes you do have remote entry. buy the right key fob for truck. i believe its 99-2005 then 2006 to present
