Breaking exhaust manifold bolts is a risk you have to take when you are removing your manifolds. I soaked mine with PB blaster twice a day for almost 2 weeks prior to removing my manifolds to install headers and I still broke one of them. They break, it happens, that's unfortunately the way it is. After removing the manifold I was able to get what was left of the bolt out with a pair of visegrips.

I managed to get my headers on without removing the dipstick, I slid the drivers side header in from the top, running the dipstick between the primaries. If this does not work, it should just pull out with the pin out of the way.

The dipstick tube is a tight fit. If you've removed the bolt that holds it in place, work it back and forth and pull at the same time- it should come out.

Boy, ain't that the truth!...........It will be a PITA for a while but once you get the tube moving, it will come out with a little more effort.

I can rotate it and the header is resting on it. The tube and I think sterring shaft (maybe?) are both in the way. It's getting dark, so will have to wake up early and finish tomorrow. The bolt is removed, so you guys are saying it should slide out (with more effort)?

Oh will I end up looking like the dorks on the couch in the oil sludge commercial or no oil bath when the tube comes out?

Pull it up while twisting it, it will come out...........Press fit parts are notoriously hard to remove. Re-install the same way, use lots of lube, make sure you did not get dirt in the hole it will make it that much harder to re-install.
