After further investigation i found another set of numbers on the choke tower-> 7855 3493. After looking on the holley website i believe this carb to be a model #4175 with 650cfm. I noticed on the website that there is a Renew kit and a Trick Kit. Does anyone know what the difference bettween them is?

Taken from the Summit Racing web site:

"Do you need to refurbish your tired Holley carburetor? A Holley Renew kit brings your carb back to original specs and like-new condition! These carburetor Renew kits from Holley come complete with all of the necessary gaskets, O-rings, pump diaphragm(s), needle and seat(s), power valve(s), detailed instructions, and hardware for a complete rebuild. When a Renew is in order, trust Holley to do it right!"

"These Holley Trick Kits are the inexpensive solution to fuel slosh in your carburetor. The kits contain all of the parts you need to perform a complete rebuild on your Holley carb, including a vent baffle, high-flow needle and seat assemblies, high-capacity power valves, pump cam and secondary opening spring assortments, gaskets, and O-rings. Plus, they have extra parts related to carburetor calibration that are required in order to accomplish a real performance tune. These include accelerator pump discharge nozzles and extra gaskets. A carburetor exploded view and detailed tuning guide are also included, with packaging that serves as a handy parts tray. These Holley Trick Kits have it all."

Yes my Holley book says
0-7855 (4175)
Direct replacement for all Carter Thermo-Quad carbs on
1975-76 440 (A-134) perf. optio engs. 1979-84 360; 1980-83
318 Dodge Trks.
Vacume secondaries, single pump, spread bore, 650 c.f.m.,
Emissions style carb w/ divorced choke. Manual Trans.

Other than the divorced choke "I just don't like them but they do work" it sounds like it is ideal for your set up. If you are looking for fuel economy you should go with the "Renew Kit" plus it is cheaper.

75 f100 carb switch

I have a 1975 f100 with 390 in it. It has a 2 barrel in it and I want to switch it over to a 4 barrel. Im wondering what other work may be involved in the switch over.
