....where do they go? I don't see them on my diagram.

Would need to see a picture of them. I wouldn't even be able to guess without a picture.

Is there a small T-fitting connected to either hose? Or are one of them connected to a little round or can-shaped object with a vacuum hose fitting, on the passenger-side inner wheel well?

You might be looking at the vacuum lines for your HVAC controls. Without vacuum, you won't be able to get air to blow out of the four dash vents, or have any control over where else the air comes out.

They've been cut, so I don't know what used to be attached. I get air, but only out my vents with some leaking towards the defrost. I'll take a pic and post it later.

That would be my guess as well. But I hate guessing.
