What you are going to be looking at is a 1939 Bantam Coupe. It has been restored now for 30+ years. It was restored by my grandfather. It has a small 4 cyclinder engine. Crusing speed is about 40mph. I wouldn't recommed going any faster. They were built in Butler, PA. in the 1930's starting with the American Austin, after a few years the name had changed to American Bantam. It was said to be the smart car of the great depression. Cost of a car then was around $300 dollars or so. The company made Coupe's, roadsters, pickups, panels, and the first jeep.
Oh, yeah and to make this about a Ford, look who, and whats pulling it. My 3year old and her Excursion.
You know someone in our club did rent a ford econoline van (panel style) and put a roadster inside the back of it. Dont know if the panel was an extended version.
The windshield was turned down though.
My grandfather in the past used to place a car in the bed of a dodge long bed, and then one on the trailer. He would drive the car on the trailer first and then on boards up to the bed of the truck.
He was a car salesman for chrysler so thats why a dodge. I'll find some pics if anyone is interested.
