Broken front strut mount
Is there a cheaper way of repairing or replacing stud on the lower suspension arm that holds the bottom of the front shock by either aftermarket or fabrication? Today while replacing the shock the stud twisted off during installation. Apparently the metal used for this part is rather soft. The Ford dealer is claiming that the whole suspension arm has to be replaced. Seems a little ridiculous for something that was way too easy to break.
