I have a 1967 Ford F100. When I turn the Hazards on, only the back ones blink and not the front. I have checked the wiring and fuses. Everything checks out. Also, put a switch in for the back up lights and the wire was hot but, when I connected the switch the lights came on and then went out. I have no power. Any ideas?
Welcome to FTE. You'll need to start by double checking all the fuses (with a test light) then unplug the wires on the lights that do not work and start testing that way.
It wouldn't hurt to check the wires themselves for continuity. Either a quick continuity check or reading ohms on the wires, or both. Don't forget to wiggle the wiring while testing to help diagnose any intermittent issues.
I took off the steering wheel and checked the turn signal cam. Everything looks good there. I only have four fuse and they all check out good too. I changed out the flasher, still nothing. I will check the wires. Thanks
I have a chopping and hesitation when I step on the accelerator pedal. But when I have the manual choke 3/4 closed the chopping and hesitation goes away and the response is great. Would this be the spray nozzle to small or the jets to small? Its a Holley 750 double pumper?
Aw come on Scotty. He doesn't post much, might as well be down here.
jagdeshane, So what did you ever figure out with your light issue? You never came back and told us.
I'm having to try and reach waaaaaay back in my memory banks for a Holley carb. It's been too long. When did you put the 750 on? Did your problems start with the install? I was a fan of the quadrajet, but from what I remember of the Holley, it had a vacuum secondary, right? Perhaps an issue with the vacuum advance in the distributor? Is your timing good? Do you have air bleed screws or just fuel adjustment screws? Obviously choking off air is helping you out. If you've got a vacuum secondary, maybe the big half isn't kicking in.
