I just had my '07EL into the shop this week for it's second transmission reprogram to correct the rolling stop downshift bump. The service writer told me there was a new program that superceded the reprogram done several months ago. For now the problem has gone away. They said they were not able to duplicate another problem that I had which is a hard accelaration "Squeal or squeak" as the transmission shifts up or even as full throttle downshift when going about 30-45 mph.
I went through this. You need to take the tech on a ride. Get to where you can duplicate it yourself, then do it for them. Took me 3 test drives before they fixed it.
Berry, did your 'chirp' occur when the tranny was cold or rather warm? I couldn't duplicate mine on the drive home from the dealer, but I could before the last reflash after driving in stop-n-go traffic for 45 minutes.
BTW, my transmission, coolant, head temperature, and of course inlet air temperature got Hotter empty in traffic than it did towing my trailer up any mountain in the same weather.
My thoughts on the tranny reflash, is its an attempted software fix for a real hardware problem.

Cold, hot didn't matter. I slowed to 30mph or so, almost floored it and I could hear it. I got it down to where I could do it every time if need be. It has to downshift to do it.
Mine may have done it cold too, but this time of year in Phoenix its always hot!
The tranny reflash may have helped the chirp if the shifting logic changed. The report they gave me said they tried 30 times to duplicate, but was unable. I know it chirped before, but not now (or yet anyway).

Well you have 5/60,000 warranty. If it comes back you can go back.
