Is it possible.

Can you swap out front coil springs of a F150 with those from a F250 or is there major work involved then? Other then that, can you buy stiffer springs then normal?

why do you want to go stiffer? adding a big a$$ winch

what year f150 have you got?

you might try looking for expedition front springs since we have more front end weight than the f150

if it's an older (pre-1997) check your local junk yards and do some measuring. that's usually free you should be primarily concerned with the spring diameter to make sure the f250 version will fit the mounting cups.

I know you could have stiffer springs made... I'm not sure on this one, but aren't all pre-97 trucks leafs and not coils??? just a thought.

Yes you can use front coil springs from a 2wd F250 (80-96) on an F150 2wd or 4wd. They measure close to the same height but have different weight ratings which may cause a lighter truck to sit up higher. I bought a set of heavy duty replacement front coil springs for one of my old trucks years ago. I believe they were made by Moog, I am sure they are still available... I think I paid around 80 bucks for the set... not too bad. After doing this you will need a front end alignment and most likely you will need different camber bushings installed as well.
