ford has had that idea for a few years now.. they even built a mustang with one in it about 2 years ago.. but i dont see them doing it for real prodution.
p.s.. love your superduty, at least a few guy's still buy gas engine trucks with stick box's. my buddy just bought a 1999 4x4 with a v10 5 speed..
One had the 6.8 V10 swapped into it, and you couldn't put a hood on it because the engine was so tall.
The other was actually built by SVT (I think) as a one-off that they called a Boss 351, that had a 5.8 V10 in it, that was much smaller dimensionally than the 6.8, but that was several years ago. I'm thinking like '02 or '03, because it was done with a '99-04 bodystyle Mustang.
I remember seeing a V-10/auto combo stuffed into a Crown Vic. The interior was a real hack job to fit the length and fatter truck tranny. A Mustang would probably be worse.
they fit rite in a foxbody 79-93 stang for sure.. i saw one that a guy rigged up in a 89 coupe with a t-45 behind it and the fit was not that bad.. thanks
