How do ya do it with out generally F'in it up? Honestly I haven't looked at all pieces but I was just playing with the front fender and didn't want to get ahead of my self.
This is the trim that runs along the wheel wells and down the lower parts of the doors and fenders.
If you're asking because of repainting it, I would just tape it really good. That is what the guy before me did, and it looks great. And I think if you did take it off, it might not go back on the body perfectly straight. But if you do, there are different fasteners on all them. my advise is to look in a lmc truck catalong and look at the new trim to find out how they are attached. I think some pop off and others slide out. Just take a look on the web site. lmctruck.com
Do your self a favor and do NOT listen to the previous poster. Go to the junk yard and practice on a beat up piece of trim. It just pops off w a little pressure. But try on a junk piece before you ruin yours.
Taping off molding?! What a hack way to do somthing. Next your gonna say to tape off a cab lights, grill and taillights.
