I heard a song by a young singer Jesse James, 'wanted'. I thought that I might buy it. Amazon has the whole mp3 album for 1.99, so why not.
Only they want me to download their Amazon downloader first. Bunch of stuff about disabling pop up blockers, accepting cookies, etc. Then, it will attach the songs to iTunes or Media Player unless I disable that option first.
I'm sure that Amazon gets something from this or why bother. Looked on iTunes and they want 8 bucks. ( The album isn't that good IMHO)
Has anybody used this bleeping Amazon Downloader? Why do they have to screw everything up?
I used it not too long ago, I did not want to but it wasnt bad. It just downloads the songs for you into your music folder I believe and adds the playlist to media player or itunes, I just copied the mp3's to my mp3 folder and that was that. But I hate when they do stuff like that.
Well, I did do it ( cheapness strikes again). Found the process fairly awkward and disliked having to turn off my pop up blocker. Plus I made amazon a trusted site -- which didn't really seem to help.
Anyway, I got the album, redid my browser security, and uninstalled their downloader. Will avoid doing that again.
