First i would like to say hi from the united kingdom and what an informative forum you have here.
I have just bought a ford f150 lariat 5.4 triton to tow a jayco eagle superlight, I have to admit it tows like a dream. I am not new to american vehicles as i also have a 2004 lincoln navigator that i have had from new, I just love american cars, they last forever
I have done a search and cannot find the answer to this problem that i have, so i wonder if anyone else does.
I have traced wiring as far as i can at the moment. if you switch the a/c on it shows up in the heater control screen as a/c, but it does not come on, so i went to the relay that controls it and you have 5 pins on it two thick ones that make the circuit and 3 small, the 3 small as far as i know work as center pin does nothing so i am left with 2, 1 permanent live and this is on and 1 that should be the earth a to make the relay work when the a/c switch is pressed, there is no earth, i earthed this pin and it all works great. So my problem is any idea where the wiring goes to from the switch inside to make this earth on the relay work.
thanks

thanks for the reply, i have checked the fuses they are ok, the fuse works the positive side and as far as i can work out when you press the switch it should join up the negative side.
