any one know

i have a 1997 ford one ton five speed .... and its a dog does any one know some cheap easy upgrades to get a little more power and can i cut the cat out withoout throwing engine codes .... not cheaply jerry rig just in expensive

what engine is in it?? Do you know the rear gear ratio?? Please try to give a little ,ore infor on the truck.

it has the 7.3 diesel and i really dont know what rear end ill have to check into it

I didn't think they put catalytic converters on 1997 7.3L turbo diesels.

You should go to the engine forum and ask the guys that run 1994.5 - 1997 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel engines, they would be happy to help you.
